Bouquet workshop at KKOT: a morning among women with Meilyne
There are mornings that resemble what we want to build. This was one of them.
At the house of KKOT, in Korean, simply means "flower." Jiwon welcomes you with the quiet gentleness of someone who knows exactly what they're doing. Her shop is small, bright, filled with stems and silence. The perfect place to slow down.
That morning, six women met for the first time. Different in their professions, their backgrounds, their ways of being in the world. But something had brought them there: a common curiosity, a shared sensitivity, and a Meilyne bag for some of them.
Why was Meilyne organizing this?
It's no coincidence that Meilyne chose a floral workshop rather than a cocktail party or a fashion show. The brand isn't looking to stage a spectacle; it's looking to create genuine moments where women can connect in ways other than through consumption.
The collection was presented naturally, as the conversation flowed. Bags were placed on the table, touched, and tried on between design stages. No pitch. Just pieces that fit into real life.
The key takeaway.
Six women arrived, each with their own very different life stories. They left with a bouquet, a few photos, and hopefully, the desire to return. Not necessarily for a bag. But for this: to be among women who have something to say, in a place that reflects who they are.
That's what Meilyne wants to be. Not just a brand you buy. A brand you experience.
